Birla Temple Jaipur-A perfect mix of spirituality and architecture.

The Birla Temple Jaipur which is originally known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple. It is situated below the Moti Dungri Fort in Jaipur. Temple is Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, this temple stands out as a great example of architecture. Built in pure white marble, the Birla Temple is unlike the traditional ancient Hindu temples, and is built using modern technology and resources .There are mythological events engraved on the walls along with the Hindu goddesses  in delicate carvings. If you mix the ancient art with the modern architecture and want to name it, we can call it Birla Temple Jaipur.

According to history, The land for the temple was given by Maharaja of Jaipur to Birla family For that Maharaja charged only one Indian rupee. One of the prestigious families of India, Birla family belongs to Town Pilani in Rajasthan.
Birla temple is having a total unique layout. It has three domes which represents three major religions in India. Temple is surrounded with green gardens giving it a  total magnificent look.

Although everyday you can find the same amount of people visiting the temple but The best time to visit this temple is between the months of September to February. during the Festival of Janmastami the temple decoration and beauty reaches at its peak.. Time to visit temple is  between, 8.00 AM to 12.00 Noon and  in evening its 4.00 PM to 8.00 PM every day. Temple is illuminated with lights in the night so beautifully which makes everyone’s mind to come again at temple.

Outside the corridor we will find lots of people taking selfies with each other and enjoying the cool breeze flowing.

I visited temple with my family and participated in the evening aarti(prayer).It was a wonderful experience.
